Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Blog

At Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge, we know that every Jeep is special. That even if they're the same model and year, no two Jeep vehicles are alike. In fact, they're each as unique as our individual drivers. And with the care and attention that goes into creating the one vehicle that will keep you safe and on track, it's no wonder that each one we sell feels custom-made.

Now that Jeep has announced the production of limited-edition "Altitude" Compass, Grand Cherokee and Patriot models, Jeeps will become even more special.

In the society in which we live, it's incredibly rare for anything to stay the same over time. Think about it: the internet, communication technology, popular foods, the price for a tank of gas - anything. Sometimes, though, changes can be for the better.

Take the 2014 Jeep Liberty, for example. Chrysler has announced that one big change will be coming down in that model year. Namely, a Pentastar engine will power the Jeep that Skokie has come to know as its favorite. Make that a 3.2-liter V6 engine...

When it comes to loving your Dodge Ram, Evanston, we know what the feeling is like: natural. What's not to love? Power, style, performance - it's a natural fit!

Well, Ram is about to get even more natural now that Chrysler has announced that Ram trucks will offer bi-fuel versions of its 2500 Heavy Duty pickup, which will receive a name change as well. This model will be known as the Ram 2500 HD CNG, which stands for compressed natural gas.

It may be hard to believe but it's definitely true: 2013 is just around the corner. Well, maybe not this corner, but it's coming up awfully soon. One thing's for sure: as we head into March, we're already learning some exciting details about Dodge's 2013 lineup, and specifically its Ram pickup model.

When it comes to minivans, it can be difficult for some drivers to tell one model from another. But as any Chrysler Town & Country driver in Skokie knows, this model is irreplaceable and impossible to mistake with any other.

So, when Chrysler announced that its Town & Country is likely to merge with the exceptional Dodge Grand Caravan, the automaker had some thinking to do. The final decision: Chrysler will keep the Town & Country name while preserving the best features of both vehicles.

There is really only one downside to driving a convertible: once you do, you'll want everything else in your life to be convertible, too.

With that warning in mind, we at Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge can't help but recommend the 2012 Chrysler 200 S Convertible as you shop for your next vehicle. Not afraid of convertible fever? Then read on.

When you're on the hunt for a new car, there are several factors to consider: price, style, performance, but most of all, safety. If you're smart about it, though, you'll be car shopping at a leading Skokie Dodge dealer, where you know you'll be looking at exceptional vehicles.

That's because the 2012 Dodge Charger and 2012 Chrysler 300 have both earned 5-star safety ratings - the highest possible - from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

One hundred. It's such a nice round number. And now Chrysler is making it even nicer.

The automaker is upping its game by a nice 100 percent, offering a vehicle that is comparable to both the Ford Focus and Honda Civic in terms of small-car handling but that has the reliable name and styling of a Chrysler. The automaker that has brought the Chrysler Town & Country to satisfied Skokie drivers for years is preparing to introduce the Chrysler 100 to the auto market for 2013.

As all drivers in Northfield with a used Jeep Wrangler know, this automaker really knows its stuff. That's one reason why the company sold 122,460 Wranglers last year, which adds up to a 30-percent rise over 2010 sales. The increases weren't limited to the automaker's home market, though, as sales outside of the United States rose 10 percent to 26,278 last year.

The motto throughout much of America is "family comes first." Fortunately, for families that feel that way, Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge now has the family vehicle that comes in first as well. That's because the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country has been named the "Best Family Hauler" by Detroit News Readers' Choice for the seventh consecutive year.
