At Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge, we know that every Jeep is special. That even if they're the same model and year, no two Jeep vehicles are alike. In fact, they're each as unique as our individual drivers. And with the care and attention that goes into creating the one vehicle that will keep you safe and on track, it's no wonder that each one we sell feels custom-made.
Now that Jeep has announced the production of limited-edition "Altitude" Compass, Grand Cherokee and Patriot models, Jeeps will become even more special. What's more, they've been named by the people who cherish them most - our very own Jeep drivers. Jeep's "Name My Ride" contest gave our clients and fans, including Northfield used Jeep Cherokee drivers, the opportunity to name the overwhelmingly popular Jeep Grand Cherokee concept model that the automaker has confirmed will go into production as a limited-edition model for the Grand Cherokee, Patriot and Compass lines. More than 100,000 participants contributed name suggestions as part of the "Name My Ride" contest until "Altitude" was selected as the final winner.
While this news may be fresh, this isn't the first we've heard of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. This model's concept first went on display at the Houston Auto Show in January. Now that it is being pushed into production, we're excited that we'll be seeing even more of this new model and its striking blacked-out exteriors.
We're excited to see the impact that the Compass, Grand Cherokee and Patriot Altitude models have on the already successful Jeep brand, which has already seen a 34-percent increase in sales through February of this year over 2011.
