Do you want to keep your Chrysler vehicle in tip-top shape for as long as possible? It’s not difficult; all you have to do is make sure it gets regular maintenance, and these three Chrysler service tasks need to be at the top of your list.

Oil Changes

Oil changes are perhaps the single most important service task you can get. This is because oil is vital for keeping an engine healthy and operating as it should.

Oil lubricates moving engine parts to prevent harmful friction. Along with the filter, oil is instrumental in preventing dirt and debris from getting into the engine. Over time, oil gets thick, so it can’t provide adequate lubrication. It also gets dirty, which is why it needs to be changed about twice per year.

Tire Rotations

Tire rotations are essential for a couple of reasons. First, rotating all four tires at once lets them all wear down more evenly. This will improve how they perform on the road and also enhance your safety. Well-rotated tires also last a lot longer than those that don’t get rotated, which will save you money. You should also have this done about every six months or so.

Battery Tests

Your battery should be tested at least once per year. You need to know how much charge it has, especially as the weather gets colder. Because batteries typically only last around five years, regular tests allow you to be proactive and have yours replaced before it dies on you.
