The Chrysler Pacifica is not only one of the hottest vehicles at Fields Chrysler Jeep® Dodge RAM Glenview, it’s arguably the most sophisticated minivan ever built. As such, you might be unfamiliar with some of the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica model’s dashboard lights. Have no fear: our Chrysler dealers in Glenview, IL have assembled the following cheat sheet covering some of this vehicle’s important notifications.
Lightning bolt between two curved lines: if you’re driving your 2018 Chrysler Pacifica near Skokie, IL and this light appears, it means there’s a problem with the electronic throttle control (ETC) system. When you can, put the car in park and turn off the ignition. The light should turn off. Start the engine, and if the light reappears, visit us and we’ll take a look.
Car + gauge + exclamation point: When this light illuminates, your vehicle’s adaptive cruise control is inoperable and requires service.
“P” inside a circle + exclamation point to the right: This symbol indicates a problem with your Chrysler Pacifica model’s electronic parking brake. Schedule an appointment with our service techs.
Gauge + arrow pointing down from the top-left: When you successfully engage your minivan’s electronic speed control, this light turns on.
A dashed line and a solid line, with a car crossing the latter: This symbol refers to your LaneSense indicator light. When the light is white, only one (or none) of the white lane markings has been detected. When this symbol glows green, it means both markings have been detected and the system is ready to engage.
Exclamation point inside a horseshoe shape: When this light appears, it means your tire pressure is lower than recommended.
