The RAM brand and its super-capable vehicles like the RAM 2500, RAM ProMaster, and RAM ProMaster City continue to dominate the full-size pickup truck category. October 2016 sales were up 12% over October 2015, with RAM truck sales up 7% year-over-year (YOY) and RAM ProMaster vans posting a huge 92% YOY increase. Moreover, the RAM ProMaster City van was up 14% YOY. In total, RAM truck brand sales have sold 11% more units in the first 10 months of 2016 compared to last year, fueled by recent award wins such as the 2017 RAM Power Wagon winning the Best Off-Road Pickup Truck from the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA), and the RAM 1500 Rebel garnering Best Value Off-Road accolades at the October Active Lifestyle Vehicle (ALV) awards.
