One of the top safety designations in the automotive industry is the Top Safety Pick from the IIHS. In order to earn this coveted title, a vehicle must earn the top possible rating of "good" in each of the following tests: moderate-overlap frontal crash, side impact, roof strength, and whiplash. Additionally, for 2014 the Top Safety Pick must rate "acceptable" or better in the IIHS' new small-overlap front crashworthiness evaluation.
We are thrilled to report that the 2014 Dodge Dart, the 2014 Dodge Avenger, and the 2014 Chrysler 200 each earned the designation of Top Safety Pick. This makes for the sixth time that the Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 sedans have earned this nod from the IIHS.
