The 2014 Jeep Cherokee is equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 184 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque, as well as a nine-speed automatic transmission. You also have the option to upgrade to a 3.2-liter V6 engine that produces 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque on all models except the base Sport.
