For July 2013, we're thrilled to report that Chrysler Group LLC sales in the US were at 140,102. This marked an 11% increase over July 2012 sales! Here are some other highlights about the month:
- The high sales last month made July 2013 the best July since 2006.
- A long-standing streak was extended with these record sales, as July also made for the 40th consecutive month of year-over-year gains.
- As for individual brands, Jeep, Dodge, and RAM each saw sales increases as compared to July of last year.
- The RAM Truck brand's 31 percent increase was the largest sales gain of any Chrysler Group brand in July.
Reid Bigland, who is the head of US Sales, spoke of the successful month by saying:
"We continue to see strong retail sales, particularly with our pickup trucks and SUVs, and that has helped to propel Chrysler Group to our 40th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth."
