When is the best time to buy a Chrysler? Is it in the summer as you prep for a big road trip? Or how about in the winter as you invest in a new vehicle to keep you safe on the roads over the ice and snow?

Well, we have to apologize, because this was actually a trick question. From what we have seen at Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge, there's never a bad time to buy a Chrysler vehicle, whether you're gearing up for the upcoming season or just looking for your next everyday vehicle.

Taking into account September sales throughout the industry, it seems like early fall is as good of a time as any to purchase your next vehicle, and you don't have to look any farther than your local Chrysler and Jeep dealer serving Chicago and the surrounding areas. Between inexpensive car loans, increasing confidence in the job market, new lineups of midsize sedans with improved fuel economy and drivers' intentions to trade in their older vehicles, the time was right for a spectacular September, and now that it's hit we're ready to celebrate.

That's because Chrysler experienced a 12-percent sales jump last month alone, making it the leading manufacturer among American brands for September. Last month was also the best September the automaker has had since 2007. Overall, industry analysts tend to expect that the annual rate will reach about 14.5 to 15 million.

According to reported sales figures, the vehicles that most assisted Chrysler in its sales jump were the Dodge Avenger (up 89 percent over last year) and Jeep Grand Cherokee (up 19 percent).

Stay tuned to see how Chrysler finishes off the year! With a September like this, we have plenty to look forward to.
