Remember the Dodge Viper? It's not that we think it's forgettable - it certainly isn't - but since it's been out of the Dodge lineup for one model year, we thought we'd refresh your memory. But when it comes to creating a legacy, we know just as well as anyone else that you don't need constant reminders of a good thing.

But that doesn't mean you don't want to be reminded. How about leaving a little reminder for yourself of the Viper's return? Mark your calendars for early April, because that's when Skokie Dodge Viper fans can expect to see the Viper make its triumphant return at the New York Auto Show.

But this won't be the same Viper you remember, and it won't be like what you've seen from Northfield cars. Town & Country drivers will want to change alliances with the display of the next-generation Viper. And who could blame them? If our memories serve us well (and we know the do), then the Viper is certainly a model to envy.

But before you go getting jealous of the 2013 Viper, we have to wonder what you can expect from it? That, on the other hand, is hard to say. Chrysler is keeping hush-hush with the vehicle's details, so questions about some of the aspects that we loved most in previous Vipers - like power capabilities - will remain unanswered for the next several months.

Word on the street is that the engine will probably stay under a V10. Other Viper rumors allude to a Fiat sports-car feel and even a Ferrari-based tech upgrade.

The nice thing for Skokie Dodge car shoppers to keep in mind, though, is that April is only four months away. We're not saying it'll be an easy wait, but definitely worth it.

Once the 2013 Viper is revealed, we're pretty sure there will be even more questions floating around about this impressive, must-have vehicle. That's where we throw in one more reminder. The Viper may be new, but some things never change for drivers of Northfield cars. Town & Country, Liberty, Ram - whatever it is, Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge has the answer. Call today for a test drive. At least then you won't need another reminder.
