It's pretty impossible to avoid the truth. We run into reminders in every store and restaurant, down every street we drive, and even in the faces of children. Christmas is only a handful of days away, and that means the whole jolly world is in full holiday season.

That includes, of course, Jeep and Ram automakers. They're playing Santa again this year with their Haul-A-Day promotion, which gives Jeep Skokiedrivers and enthusiasts plenty of opportunities to clean up on the Christmas loot. But these presents may not fit under the tree. That's not to say that 2011 DodgeRam Skokie drivers shouldn't start making room for their wins. But the caveat, of course, is that you can't win unless you enter.

What's up for grabs? For one, there's the Jeep Arctic Yeti Dig sweepstakes, where one lucky winner will be able to take home a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Arctic edition. Entry for the sweepstakes is as easy as visiting Jeep's Facebook, Twitter or blog site before Jan. 3.

After entering the sweepstakes, six participants will be taken to the Winter X Games on Friday, Jan. 27. Once there, these Jeep lovers will have to dig their way through a pile of snow in search of the Jeep Yeti. The first to do so will be named the winner of the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Arctic edition.

Other sweepstakes include the Jeep Call of Duty sweepstakes, which gives participants the opportunity to take home the very first 2012 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty right off the line. All that this one takes is a "like" on Jeep's Facebook page before Jan. 9. After that, participating 2011 Dodge Ram Skokie drivers will be eligible immediately.

And, while you're hooking yourself up, you can also play Jeep Ops on the brand's Facebook page. It's just another way to win while having fun with Jeep.

But Ram isn't out of the action. The truck brand has Haul-A-Day plans as well. Between Dec. 16 and Jan. 27, participants will have a chance to win one of six grand prizes or an instant win, which will land them a Haul-A-Day gift on the spot. Ram Truck Facebook fans can choose a holiday package from a virtual Ram truck bed and open the gift virtually as well. Winners will be notified of their luck on their own computers.

Have yourself a Merry little Christmas indeed, and don't forget to leave some room for Jeep and Ram in your busy end-of-December plans. You don't know what kind of haul it could get you.
