At Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge, we're all about our cars, and we're always ready to help you find the one that's right for you. But we know that when it comes to being a car dealership, it's not all about the cars. What's even more important are the people behind the wheel and in the backseat, or even a car seat.

We know that our Dodge drivers in Skokie and throughout the country aren't always making happy journeys in their vehicles. Some face challenges that threaten their health, and Dodge is dedicated to doing all that we can to make sure that our vehicles give them the safe and enjoyable drive that they deserve.

But we're going beyond that. Chrysler will be auctioning off the first production 2013 SRT Viper to benefit the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer. Based out of Chattanooga, Tenn., the Foundation is recognized as an official charity of the American Le Mans Series.

The 2013 SRT Viper model that is slated for auction has been initially revealed at the New York International Auto Show, which runs April 6 through 15, and will go to auction at Barrett-Jackson Orange County June 22-24. This model promises nearly 660 horsepower out of its 8.4-liter, V-10 engine. SRT has also announced that the Viper will begin international endurance racing once again.

We wish that we were able to do even more for patients of pediatric cancer, and we're honored to do our part using what we know best: our vehicles.
