Dear Mr. Moyer:
Last week I had the pleasure of purchasing a 2009 Chrysler Sebring convertible from Jeff Malec. I explained to Jeff that I had attempted to buy a new one to replace my 2004 Sebring last year at another dealership. I tabled thoughts of buying a new one at that time, primarily because I was so turned off by the salesman! I won't go into the details.
As you can see by my letterhead, I'm in the public relations business. During more that 25 years in the field, I have worked with and trained many sales professionals. I"m writing this letter to tell you that Jeff is the perfect textbook case of a great sales person!
Every aspect of the transaction was handled flawlessly! I never felt pressured or a bit uncomfortable with him. After about half an hour, I felt like I'd known and trusted him for years. (Isn't that what being a terrific sales person is all about?)
I believe in feedback, and I've certainly complained when customer service was lacking. I've also written several letters like this one. (Unfortunately, there are more of the other variety.)

Dear Mr. Fields:
As a regular customer of Fields, I have experienced yet another example of quality service provided by your staff. In November, 2008, I purchased a Chrysler Sebring convertible with the help of Ed Miles and Jim Moyer. With approximately 4,000 miles on my odometer, the top of my convertible failed to close. I phoned Fields, and was asking to bring the car in. Having dropped the car off just prior to the closing time, the problem was speedily resolved by noon the following day.
I parked the car in my garage and went to Wisconsin for three days. Upon my return, the car would not turn over. I phoned Fields service department and told them of my predicament. The service department gave me the name of a person at AA towing and provided their phone number. When I spoke with the person at AA towing, I was surprised to learn that Jim Moyer had already phoned AA and told them I would be phone.
I phoned Jim and he said he would send Josh from Fields with a loaner to pick up my car. Josh arrived promptly, used a jumper cable and took my car to Fields. The problem was resolved with a new battery and I returned the loaner that afternoon.
Jim Moyer's prompt, efficient response to my situation was remarkable. My satisfaction with Fields is exemplified with the fact I have bought five cars from Fields over the years. That satisfaction with the vehicles is complemented with your outsanding personnel.

Just a note to let you know how pleased we are with our Fields experience. From start to finish, things were prompt, friendly, and fair. I have wanted a Jeep Wrangler since I was 19 and while I won't say just how many years that is, it's a LONG time! I did a lot of shopping around in person and online and am absolutely thrilled that the exact Jeep I wanted was at Fields. I found it through a google search. Chris in your online department was fast, friendly, and was able to get us an appointment to look at right away which turned into a sale. It is interesting to know that I contacted at least three other dealerships and never even got a response back! We are also very pleased with the service we received from our sales person, Alan. He was very helpful and patient. In short, we couldn't be happier. Friends of both my husband, and I, recommended Fields to us and now we will, too.

Dear Mr. Fields:
I just wanted to drop you a note about the outstanding service I was recently given by Jim Moyer and Jeff Malec. I just purchased a new Jeep Sahara Unlimited for my son. this was our fifth Jeep bought at Fields.
Jim's offer was quite fair and easily agreed upon. I really appreciated the no haggling that occurred. Jeff arranged the sale and transfer very quickly and made the exchange almost effortlessly.
If all car buying was this simple, I wouldn't have waited six years to trade my BMW (which I bought at Fields also). I felt you should know about their assistance.
