I was working on a used vehicle from this dealer as pricing was ok. Inquired consistently for 2 days and no response. This was elevated, and finally handled. After deal was agreed, credit app was submitted perfectly fine and confirmed. Dealer then says they are selling vehicle to somebody else... after we agreed to the deal. I offered a down payment and they said not an option. The other deal magically fell through and tell me I can buy. Wow. Then they tell me they lost my credit app. LOST MY CREDIT APP!!! Seriously, I gave up as my time and money are better spent at any other dealer. This was the most unprofessional dealership experience I have had. EVER.

I don't know about others, but car shopping to me is the equivalent of getting a root canal. That being said my wife picked up her new Jeep from the Fields group yesterday and I wish I could give them 10 stars. From the managers Ron, Jim and Paul to the owner Dan Fields you could never want a more conscientious, authentic, caring and harder working group ever. What could of been a excruciating experience turned into one of the most positive and best experiences ever in buying a car. They really live, breathe and work tirelessly to give you the best customer experience possible. They want you to drive out with your Dream and not go thru a nightmare in doing so. Went in to lease a Cherokee base model listed at $21k. After driving a few vehicles and doing some research about 3 year leases, I expected a competitive monthly payment around $250. Lou tells me it's going to be $500 a month and that I should think about trying to lease a higher end model for $390. This guy took the time to show me 4 vehicles, all the while I keep telling him my monthly price range ($250) and need for a more base model then he gives me a ridiculous quote where after 3 years I would've paid more for the car than its actually worth. After the quote he pulls the old Bait and Switch. I expect more from a Northshore dealership than sketchy shenanigans like this. What a waste of time.

I live in Colorado and I was nervous about buying a vehicle from another state but I called to discuss the purchase of my dream car and Russ Raskin was the salesperson that helped me out - to say the least. I may have been a little "high maintenance" as a customer but I wanted reassurance that there would be no surprises when I arrived to pick up my new Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. Russ and Adam (sales manager) were VERY accommodating and the professionalism, honesty, dilegence, respect and understanding was incredible. Next time I'm due for a new car, I'll be contacting Russ again...if he'll accept me as repeat customer.

From the moment I walked in to this dealership, I was in awe. Free pizza, ice cream, and drinks definitely hepled!! JW was a fantastic salesman and helped me to have a perfect first car buying experience. His knowledge about the Grand Cherokee was spot on. I paid very close attention to each of the 3 Grand Cherokees I was looking at and JW respected and encouraged this from the beginning. He also knew when to offer insight as well as when to step back and let me think; never once did I feel too pressured. For the most part, I went in knowing what I was looking for and JW knew exactly how to help. Sal in the finance department was also outstanding. He made some great recommendations about how to go about co-signing as well as giving me great warranty options even though I was buying used. His explanations were great! I would absolutely reccommend this dealership to anyone who is car shopping. I can't wait to return for free car washes and future service!!

I was in the market for a new car and being a young female I was skeptical of being taken advantage of by a car salesman looking to make a quick buck but fields proved this stereotype so wrong.

I first looked around their huge lot to see what I liked and found an awesome red charger that I was interested in.

When I was walking inside I was approached by Shawn Friedman one of the sales consultants who asked me if I needed help. Shawn was absolutely amazing and helped me every step of the way in purchasing my car. He told me about every option I had and made it very clear he was there to help me purchase a car not to sell me one. Sal also helped me with the financing of my car and was also amazing and extremely helpful.

Not only is the customer service amazing but the facility itself is ridiculous. They have popcorn, coffee, ice cream just to mention a few things they offer while you're waiting. It's unlike any other car dealership I've ever been to.

I would recommend Fields and especially Shawn to anyone thinking of getting a new car. He made my experience of buying my car flawless and memorable. I will def be a lifetime customer!

Needed a new car and started poking around online. The follow up was fantastic and never pressured. I even stopped by one night to just spend 5 minutes looking and Dennis helped me and answered what I needed and I left without feeling bad or pressured.
So when I went yesterday to buy my new jeep, I still wasn't sure which I wanted. Dennis gave me objective answers and asked great questions I hadn't considered, and it got me to where I knew what I wanted. Then he looked up every car, discussed with me all options, ways to save, benefits of things or if they don't really matter...... He was great. Fields is great. Next time I need a new car or any service it isn't even a question where I'll go!

The car buying process is terrible. I don't care what anyone says... Its the worst. We went to several places and looked at a ton of cars. I was done. I was about to give up. Then I walked into Fields. This place is elite. When I walked in I was warmly greeted. I didn't feel like fresh meat like at other dealership. I was free to roam around without being bothered. Several people asked me if I needed anything but they weren't pushy. We found the Durango we wanted and then Sean showed up. His no haggle and honest approach was exactly what we were looking for after being attacked at other places. Sean's customer service is top notch. He didn't seem fake like other car salesmen. He treated us like friends and he worked for us, didn't just push paperwork. After we bought our new Durango the dealership was about to close, yet, he still took the time to go over all the features with us. He even told us to come back at anytime If we had more questions. It wasn't just, "here's your car, now leave". If you are looking for a car at Fields ask for Sean. If he's not there, ask for his card and then shoot him an email. He's really your guy.. And that's that.

I was thinking of buying a new Jeep Grand Cherokee to replace my 4 year old grand Cherokee. I went in and dealt with Sam Mauro, it was a real pleasure working with him. No pressure, very professional, and very thorough. He was great. I decided on a car and put down a deposit. That night I thought about it and decided I wanted a few more options. I called in the morning and Sam was not yet in. I asked for the sales manager Ron Allen who Sam had introduced me to. Ron got me the exact car, with the exact options and color I wanted. When I went in in the afternoon the deal was all set with the new car.  It went very smoothly. This was the 6th or 7th car I have bought at fields and probably the best experience of them all. Fields has always been a pleasure to work with. I would be remiss if I didn't mention one of the main reasons I buy my cars at Fields, it is their great service department run by Doug Morris. Doug has been servicing my cars going back to fields bmw on Green Bay road in winnetka. Doug runs a great service department. The service writers are always respectful and courteous and the cars are taken care of properly.  All in all Fields is a great place to buy and service you cars. Highly recommended.

I was looking to lease a new minivan for our family of 5.  I met three times with Lou Cipperoni to look at the different trim levels and determine what would be the best fit for us functionally and financially.  Lou was easy to work with and very accommodating.  I would recommend asking for Lou next time you visit the Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership in Glenview.


Just purchased our second Jeep Grand Cherokee from Fields. This time we worked w/ Shawn Friedman. Can't recommend him enough. Super chill and not sales pitchy. He was relaxed and took his time w/ us and all of the questions I had. He also wasn't all over us to get back in to close the deal. In the end, we had a pleasant experience and appreciated all of the discounts Shawn was able to get us as well as his knowledge of the car.



Great buying experience.  Dennis Glauner did a great job of going through the sales / ordering process.  Paul Pikor in Parts was awesome as I had them do some customization (lift kit, tires, rims).  Other dealerships made the customization difficult but they were responsive, on time and as promised.



Does not get any better than this! A refreshing change. Sam was the best. Made this purchase a great experience so happy with my Latitude. Sam, thank you for everything. Such a pleasure to work with people who know and love their jobs!

Recently had a great buying experience at Fields Jeep when we recently purchased a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Dennis Glauner.  He did his absolute best to get us in the vehicle of our choice not just trying to sell us a vehicle off the lot and at a great price.  I would highly recommend working with Dennis if you're planning on buying a new vehicle from this dealership, he's a class act.


Buying a car is the second most expensive decision next to purchasing a home that anyone can make. It can be, but shouldn't be stressful. My experiences with Fields Jeep left me smiling when I walked out of the dealership and drove off in my new car.

Buying a car from Fields is a very simple process. No seedy sales tactics, no intimidation.

I purchased two vehicles at Fields within the past two years from Sam M.
I actually looked at a third vehicle on a different occasion, but turns out I didn't need to make a purchase at that time.

On each of these visits, Sam M. and the Sales Manager Ron A., allowed me to test drive multiple cars, during lengthy test drives, so that I could get a good feel for the car I would ultimately purchase.

Sam is very knowledgeable on the all the Jeep products in stock at the dealership. If he didn't know the answer to a particular question, he made an effort to find the answer for me in a timely manner.

Never once did I feel pressure to purchase a vehicle I did not want, of was out of my price range.

Both Sam M. and Ron A., would call me within 48 hours of my purchase and inquire if everything was going to my satisfaction.

My husband & I am from California & we found the jeep we were looking for in Illinois @ Fields Auto.  Yes, I said Illinois!! :)  Although the car was far away we decided to give them a call.  We had the pleasure of working with Dennis Glauner who was extremely helpful & made the process quick & painless.  We were picked up at the airport in an orange jeep (so we couldn't miss them) & were driven to the dealership where we were treated with kindness & great hospitality.  We were pre-approved so the paperwork time was minimal even with the California transfer hurdle.  This was by far the most impressive dealership & everyone we talked to was so friendly.  If you're in the market for new or previously new wheels I would strongly recommend checking them out!!!  You will not be disappointed!!!  Thank you, Fields, & Dennis Glauner!!  We'll be back to visit one day :) we love our new jeep!!!!


You know when you are looking for a new car and you're dreading the visit at the dear.... Well that's not the case at Fields Auto. 

This past weekend we purchased our new Jeep Grand Cherokee at Fields Auto. Let me tell you it was the best buying experience one can have. On our way to the dealership we were called by our sales person Jay Sachs. We arrived for our appointment and he had the car we had in mind ready. Everything went smoothly from the test drive to contract signing. No pressure, no funny business.  Just pure pleasure working with Jay. He took care of everything and made us feel like we were family not just another customer. Also our finance guy did an amazing job getting us great financing terms. While we were waiting for our car to be ready they even check our old Jeep for recall and had that fix.

I cannot not say enough good things about Fields Auto. It's simple if you are looking to buy a Jeep go and see JAY SACHS! He's the best!

For me, a trip to the auto dealership usually falls somewhere between a hospital visit to see a dying relative and running the smarmy salesmen gauntlet at an Art Van Furniture store.

Either way, you need a shower afterwards and the smell of antiseptic and bedpans is far easier to erase than the stench of bad sales tactics.

All kidding aside, Jay is a pro!

From my initial fact-finding visit to learn everything about the Grand Cherokee product line, to my overnight test drive on through to running numbers and ultimately executing a lease, I felt absolutely no pressure whatsoever and no twinge of regret or shame afterwards.
